Wisdom & Understanding is priceless! PROVERBS4:5-9
As registered nurses .. This is what we are trained to do.! We make sure all your doctors orders are carried out correctly & safely by all providers.
This also mean functioning as a partner with many other disciplines to make sure all care ordered by physicians followed according to policy & standards of care .
This also mean developing a thorough plan for you and your family in the
hospital and in outpatient settings. We oversee your discharge and teaching.
It is our duty to serve as educators, advocates for patients, families & communities.
As we see the progressive challenge to render care as evidenced by the well publicized significant doctor & nursing shortage across the U.S. It is the belief that education and being a partner with the doctor in your care will be most beneficial to you as well as the doctor.
We recommend to learn as much as you can about your body , the various illnesses and treatments as America work diligently to bring in more nurses and doctors, to meet the projected demand of 1 million nurses by 2022.
May 2018 nurse.org The A.A.M.C. (Association of American Medical College ) has stated that we may see an estimate shortage of over 40,000 - 104,000 physicians by the year 2030. Together we can navigate thru the healthcare gate. !
